Satie: Discoveries

To mark the centenary of Erik Satie's death, Alexandre Tharaud offers us an unprecedented immersion into the world of his beloved composer, with a digital album of 27 short  pieces revealed and published for the first time.

This rediscovery is the fruit of research carried out in various archives by Japanese composer Sato Matsui and British musicologist and composer James Nye, both Satie specialists.
