Jakub Józef Orliński

Known as “the first operatic superstar to win over Gen Z” (Telegraph Luxury), Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński has taken the world by storm. An accomplished model and breakdancer as well as a singer with “the voice of an angel” (The Sunday Times), Jakub is renowned for his unique ability to connect with new audiences and art forms worldwide. Few other opera singers can claim to have conquered the stages of the world’s greatest concert halls and the covers of Polish Vogue, Esquire, and Elle, but this is a testament to Jakub’s unique pop star appeal.

Following his landmark performance at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Jakub took center stage in early 2026 at the Gala des Pièces Jaunes, proving that classical mastery has no boundaries. He presented not only his viral Vivaldi hit “Vedro con mio diletto” for 40,000 people but also surprised the crowd by joining A$AP Rocky for a high-energy collaboration. 

His “ravishing” (The Guardian) live performances have sold out concert halls and opera houses all over the world.

Jakub has built a massive global fanbase with hundreds of thousands of social media followers. Through his work as a model and influencer, he has collaborated with international brands including Netflix, Louis Vuitton, Levi’s, Nike, BMW, Rolex, Lacoste, and MAC Cosmetics. He is also an accomplished breakdancer; his competitive prizes include fourth place at the Red Bull BC One Poland Cypher and second place at both the Stylish Strike – Top Rock Contest and The Style Control competition.

As an exclusive recording artist for Warner Classics/Erato, Jakub has earned critical acclaim for his recordings of undiscovered early music gems. His recording Beyond was named one of The Times’ best classical albums of 2023, and his discography continues to expand toward new horizons. 

His next album, If music…, due in Spring 2026, showcases Jakub in 17 songs and arias by Purcell, Handel, and Fux. In a distinctive artistic choice, he is partnered not by a period ensemble but by his long-standing collaborator, pianist Michał Biel, who draws on the full resonance of a modern Steinway grand. Upcoming live highlights of Jakub’s 2026 season include Asian and European tours of If music… and Beyond, as well as performances of Giulio Cesare with il pomo d’oro.
