Violinist Daniel Lozakovich has captivated audiences worldwide with his tonal purity, poetic intensity and formidable technique.
Born in Stockholm in 2001, he made his solo debut at nine and has since appeared with many of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors, including the Boston Symphony, Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, and conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Klaus Mäkelä, Semyon Bychkov and Christoph Eschenbach.
A sought-after recitalist, he has performed in major halls such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Tonhalle Zürich, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and Mariinsky Theatre, and is a regular guest at top international festivals including Verbier, Gstaad Menuhin and Tanglewood.
Lozakovich signed exclusively with Warner Classics/Erato in 2024, releasing an album dedicated to Franck, Grieg, Shor/Pletnev and Shostakovich with pianist Mikhail Pletnev. He plays the 1713 “ex-Sancy” Stradivari, generously loaned by LVMH.
