Mozart: Horn Concertos Nos. 1 - 4, Symphonies Nos. 29 & 33

Hornist Alan Civil is a true legend of his instrument, as first soloist of the main British orchestras (Royal Philharmonic, Philharmonia and BBC Symphony) but also as session musician on famous songs by the Beatles! During his tenure at the Philharmonia, he left us a reference recording of Mozart's lively concertos conducted by Otto Klemperer. They are coupled with two Mozart symphonies, and all these recordings are made available for the first time in high-resolution remasterings.
