From Zimmer to Strauss

Hans Zimmer and Johann Strauss may seem worlds apart—but they are closer than one may think.

Filmed and recorded at Dubai Opera, this spectacular production marked the world premiere of The Limitless Orchestra. Led by its founder, Aleksey Igudesman, the orchestra brings its extraordinary blend of virtuosity, movement, theatricality and joy to the music of two legendary composers.

Strauss meets Latin rhythms, Middle Eastern melodies and Roma fire, while Zimmer’s music from The Da Vinci Code, Sherlock Holmes and Inception is reimagined in entirely unexpected ways.

Hans Zimmer, musical patron of The Limitless Orchestra, appears as a special guest, joining the ensemble for the grand finale, Inception Variations—an exhilarating journey through waltz, tango, Celtic music, hard rock, Bollywood and rap.
