Helène Grimaud’s next album for Deutsche Grammophon is published on September 8th and is devoted to Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. We took this opportunity to look back into the three albums she recorded for Erato as an homage to these two figures of German romanticism: Brahms’ four last great cycles and first concerto conducted by Kurt Sanderling, and Schumann’s concerto with David Zinman.
