Suffering people who often experienced despair and loneliness are the inspiration behind Alain’s writing of Consolation, which he started composing at the end of the pandemic. Lefèvre’s music is melodic, like a soothing balm in spite of everything, each of his pieces is a little tableau of life. This is perhaps his most accomplished opus of compositions to date.
