With this collection of Beethoven recordings, Maria Tipo’s legacy for EMI Records is now fully available to digital partners. This discreet but amazing pianist, great figure of her instrument and esteemed teacher, passed away last February, leaving us a short but beautiful discography. This album includes a varied selection of piano sonatas and concertos, from youth works to late masterpieces. The concertos are conducted by Hans Graf with the London Symphony Orchestra.
