Artista protagonista:
London Orchestra Pro Arte
Here is a newly remastered album by the very young Charles Mackerras, barely thirty at the time of recording, alongside the now defunct London orchestra Pro Arte. He treats us to Mozart's occasional and light-hearted pieces, from the marches of his youth to the German dances of his maturity. Of particular note is the charming Divertimento (K. 113), composed in Milan: one of the composer's very first attempts at the clarinet, still unknown in Salzburg at the time.
