The year 2024 will intensely highlight the figure of Anton Bruckner as his 200th year since his birth. Towards the end of his career, as he renewed his repertoire and left aside his favored Baroque and Classical music to approach the great Romantic masters, Nikolaus Harnoncourt recorded this beautiful Seventh symphony live from the Vienna Festival, in his first symphonic collaboration with the Wiener Philharmoniker.
