From the artist: “I took the keyboard pattern and harmony from Bach as a starting point and changed the tempo and development — almost as if Bach provided the raw materials from which I could create my own narrative and meaning. I feature a lot of soloists in the work, sometimes on their own, sometimes in tandem, mimicking the idea of kids playing together—sometimes running off on their own, sometimes coming together as a group.” - Marco Beltrami
