Cécile Ousset Plays Chopin, Liszt & Rachmaninov

Cécile Ousset was one of the figureheads of EMI in the 1980s, thanks notably to her splendid concerto collaborations with Simon Rattle, and her inspired renditions of the great Romantics. This collection pays homage to the greatest pianists of the past with two concertos and the Paganini Variations by Rachmaninov, Liszt’s piano sonata and Paganini Studies, and various pieces by Chopin (sonatas, scherzi, ballades).
