Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel

Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella is a Xmas hit tune written for a fairy tale film of the same title, drawing inspiration from Božena Němcová's "O Popelce" (About Cinderella) and the 1819 version of Grimm's "Cinderella." The Czech/East German co-production was made in 1973 under the direction of Václav Vorlíček and has since become one of the most famous fairy tale films.
