Vilde Frang concert to be streamed live from the Concertgebouw this Sunday

See the Norwegian violinist play Mozart in a free online broadcast live from one of the world's greatest concert halls.

Wherever you are in the world this weekend, you can witness one of today's brightest young violinists lead the Basel Chamber Orchestra in the famed Concertgebouw, thanks to the hall's online stream live in HD.

The 27-year-old virtuoso Vilde Frang will perform Mozart's beloved Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major K364 with the Basel band, along with violist Nils Mönkemeyer. The sublime program concludes with another favourite: Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings.

A child prodigy, Frang was plucked from a family of double bassists to perform with Mariss Jansons when she was just 13. She won an Echo Klassik award last year for her Warner Classics disc of Tchaikovksy and Nielsen concertos. Don't miss her performance this Sunday!
