LLUC

'LLUC' is the first single from David Gómez' upcoming album 'Portrait', which will be an intimate and reflective album, born from observation and deep listening. The album is deeply linked to the importance of silence and the natural sounds that surround the act of playing the piano: breathing, the sound of the pedal, the creaking of the chair, the
space that envelops each note. Elements that normally go unnoticed and that here form part of
the musical language, reinforcing the feeling of closeness and truth.

'LLUC' was born from a silent, repeated gesture. For months, every
Monday Gómez lit twelve candles in a small church in Sineu, Mallorca, as an act of hope after his
father was diagnosed with lung cancer. Over time, he recovered, and this piece emerged as a
gesture of gratitude. Written in a minor key, LLUC carries a sense of introspection and faith,
while leaving space for light and the feeling that something beautiful may happen. A restrained
and intimate piece, where emotion unfolds through waiting.
