Miraculously, the magnificent grand organ of Notre-Dame de Paris survived the catastrophic fire in April 2019. With its 8000 pipes fully cleaned and restored, it was back in action for the historic reopening of Notre-Dame in December 2024. This is the first recording on the newly restored organ.
Vincent Dubois, one of Notre-Dame’s four titular organists, has recorded Eternal Notre-Dame to showcase this monumental instrument (built by the great Aristide Cavaillé-Coll) and to salute its heritage.
