11 new titles in the HOME OF OPERA

The Home of Opera series offers treasures from the world's greatest opera catalogue, presenting some of the most important and admired recordings of complete operas produced by EMI Classics over the last 60 years.
As Montserrat Caballé will celebrate her 80th birthday this year, the new batch includes highlights of her great discography: Bellini's I Puritani, Puccini's Manon Lescaut and Turandot.
Maria Callas is featured with her recording of Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Wolfgang Sawallisch - the great German conducter who passed away in February - with Wagner's Meistersinger and Angela Gheorghiu with Bizet's Carmen and Massenet's Werther.
You can also find James Colon's famous recording of Zemlinsky's opera Der Zwerg ("The Dwarf"), Ponchiell's La Gioconda with Violeta Urmana and Plácido Domingo, Carlo Maria Giulini conducting Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro and Jerzy Semkov conducting the original version of Mussorgsky's Boris Godunow.
