Gustav Leonhardt
Gustav Leonhardt, one of the greatest of all harpsichord players and a teacher and mentor to many of the best known players today, has died in Amsterdam at the age of 83 following a three year struggle against cancer. He gave his last concert only December 2011 in Paris after which he announced his retirement due to ill health.
