Adam: Giselle (Arr. Büsser)

Conductor Robert Irving’s career is closely associated with ballet, as he was appointed music director of the most important companies such as the Royal Ballet and the New York City Ballet. With the Philharmonia Orchestra, he recorded the first score of importance in that repertoire, Adam’s Giselle, which Tchaikovsky himself admired and took as an inspiration for his own ballets.
